Hamilton County is served by a mainline of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

Air

The Syracuse-Hamilton County Airport is an integral part of the community with use by an agricultural sprayer, medical specialists, air ambulance services and a number of corporate administrative personnel as well as an FBO offering fuel, flight instruction and pilot services. In addition to the 75 FT wide by 4,600 FT long concrete runway, the airport facilities include 10 hangars that are available for rent and a terminal building open 24 hours. The airport has installed an Automated Weather Observation System, credit card fuel system and has GPS approaches in both directions.
